CICAF kicks off...
The China International Animation Festival kicked off Monday night in Hangzhou. The festival is a yearly carnival for kids, and also a business opportunity that the industry insiders would not miss.
The festival is the biggest of its kind in China. This year's event in the capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, attracts experts, business entities and guests from over 30 countries. 500,000 people are expected to attend, There are cartoon parades, an expo and discussion forums.
Organizers say this platform is reserved for the most creative minds from China and overseas. The newest ideas and technologies in animation step into the spotlight.
The festival closes May 3rd.
